Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain precise patient records and medication profiles in our digital pharmacy system
- Assist with third-party insurance billing and prescription verification processes
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure strict adherence to DEA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize workflow and patient safety
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician license required
- Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and calculations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
