Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Maintain inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Process and manage prescription refill requests
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist with medication compounding and sterile preparations
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
