Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Assist in sterile compounding and IV preparations when certified
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Nevada
- Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and pharmacy workflow
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
