Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service regarding medication inquiries and prescription status
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy technology systems including dispensing software and automation equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required
- Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred (1+ years)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Proficient in pharmacy software and basic computer applications
- Background check and drug screen required
