Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing workflow and inventory control systems
- Provide exceptional patient consultations on medication usage and OTC products
- Operate automated dispensing technology and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Train new pharmacy staff on SOPs and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active NC Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 2 years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of DEA regulations and pharmacy law
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- CPR certification preferred
