Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and patient consultations.
- Manage inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and monitoring expiration dates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Handle cash transactions and manage payment processing efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
