Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Prepare and compound medications following safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Maintain precise inventory records and manage medication ordering/receiving
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and record-keeping
- Assist with immunizations and patient health screenings
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and pharmacy security procedures
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT strongly preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
