Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists in the compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.
- Compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations.
