Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmacy inventory and equipment maintenance using provided tools
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with provided systems
- Provide exceptional patient consultations on medication usage
- Operate pharmacy equipment (counters, automated dispensers, etc.) provided by employer
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (training provided for specific systems)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently with provided equipment and tools
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
