Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and equipment
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Administer vaccinations and health screenings (certification provided)
- Maintain sterile compounding environments with provided equipment
- Train on new pharmacy technologies and tools
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all documentation processes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate automated dispensing equipment
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Basic math and inventory management skills
