Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection using company-provided equipment
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA and CLIA regulations
- Maintain inventory of collection supplies and report equipment needs
- Document patient information and test results in our digital health records system
- Provide exceptional patient care during blood draw procedures
- Collaborate with lab staff to ensure accurate specimen handling
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in blood collection
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and specimen handling skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
