Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Operate pharmacy equipment (provided by employer) including automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory and stock medications per protocols
- Process insurance claims and manage prescription documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active NC Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of pharmacy tech experience
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing procedures
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (training provided)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided equipment
