Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory, order pharmaceutical supplies, and maintain stock levels
- Process insurance claims and manage patient prescription records
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy management software and point-of-sale systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software
