Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information to ensure billing accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns for patients.
- Assist with the compilation and maintenance of patient medication records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g., PTCB) or eligible to sit for the exam.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of pharmacy software.
