Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications according to physician orders.
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Assist the Pharmacist in medication dispensing and quality control checks.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving prescription concerns.
- Sort and organize incoming medication deliveries.
Qualifications
- Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems.
