Responsibilities
- Verify prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper labeling.
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding medications.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves and conducting periodic counts.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment.
- Process returns, refunds, and insurance claims efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCE or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus.
