Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques.
- Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
