Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients during their stay.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Minnesota CNA License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as required.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
