Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and stock rotation to ensure optimal availability
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Operate pharmacy technology including dispensing systems and EMRs
- Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
