As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive their medications safely and accurately while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for patients according to legal and health authority requirements.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists with medication compounding, quality control checks, and final approval.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure products are always available.
- Process payments and handle customer inquiries regarding prescriptions, insurance, and medications.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
