Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist patients with prescription inquiries, insurance coverage questions, and medication counseling.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify patient information and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory health requirements.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing equipment and computer systems to process prescriptions.
- Process returns, exchanges, and voids according to company policy.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Cerner, McKesson) is a plus.
