As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll work alongside licensed pharmacists to dispense medications, manage inventory, and assist patients with their healthcare needs. Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing, including data entry and verification
- Assist with inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspace
- Process insurance claims and manage billing documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior pharmacy experience required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration (we assist with application)
