Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and stock pharmacy supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain strict compliance with pharmacy regulations and HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Qualifications
- No prior pharmacy experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Arizona Pharmacy Technician registration within 30 days of hire
