Responsibilities
- Assist Pharmacists: Prepare and package prescription medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Customer Service: Interact with patients to answer questions, process payments, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, receive shipments, and organize the pharmacy storage area efficiently.
- Prescription Processing: Accurately input and verify prescription data into the pharmacy management system.
- Medication Safety: Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA) to ensure patient privacy and medication accuracy.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on medication labels and packaging to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
