Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and compound prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software efficiently
- Assist with vaccine preparation and administration protocols
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- CPhT certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy compliance standards
