Our 8-week paid training program covers prescription processing, medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. Upon completion, you'll be fully prepared to pass the PTCB exam and join our team at one of our 15+ locations across LA County.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
- Manage medication inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
- Assist with patient counseling and medication information
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and HIPAA standards
- Operate pharmacy dispensing technology and software systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy software
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must complete paid training program and pass PTCB exam
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
