Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
- Manage medication inventory and stock rotation
- Assist with compounding and sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional patient education and counseling
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software and dispensing equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math proficiency for dosage calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to obtain California Pharmacy Technician license
- Commitment to completing paid training program
