Responsibilities
- Prepare and accurately package prescription medications for patients according to physician orders.
- Verify and input prescription orders into the pharmacy management system with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and processing returns.
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication therapy management and clinical interventions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone inquiries and addressing patient medication questions.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, pharmacy safety protocols, and state laws.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or ExCPT, or currently registered in Arizona.
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license (or in the process of obtaining one).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage forms, and medication interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
