Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing workflow and prioritize urgent requests
- Maintain accurate inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy systems
- Must be available to start immediately (tomorrow)
