Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and stock rotation systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure strict compliance with NJ pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Assist in training new pharmacy technicians
Qualifications
- Active NJ Pharmacy Technician certification required
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
