Responsibilities
- Verify prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
- Prepare and package prescription medications for patients.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Assist the Pharmacist with compounding and processing insurance claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) or state licensure.
- Current and valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software.
