Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Assist with compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Train on advanced pharmacy systems including robotic dispensing technology
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary (training provided)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Basic computer skills with willingness to learn pharmacy software
- Nebraska Pharmacy Technician certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid Nebraska driver's license preferred
