Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Label, log, and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis accurately.
- Manage and sterilize phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required (Training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic health records.
