Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA and CLIA regulations
- Maintain sterile equipment and accurate documentation of procedures
- Provide patient education on pre-test preparation and aftercare
- Collaborate with laboratory staff for timely specimen processing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT1)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
