Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using our digital practice management software
- Perform chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient comfort
- Coordinate scheduling and optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant license (California Board of Dentistry)
- CPR certification and radiography proficiency
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree or dental assisting certificate preferred
