Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to CLIA and HIPAA standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and sample tracking systems
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for specimen collection protocols
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASPT or equivalent)
- 1+ years clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent venipuncture and pediatric draw skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
