Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures accurately and efficiently
- Process and handle specimens following strict laboratory protocols
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of blood samples
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workstations
- Provide exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism
- Document all procedures and patient interactions meticulously
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patients
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
