Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection following strict protocols
- Process and handle specimens with precision and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure sterile equipment and HIPAA compliance at all times
- Collaborate with clinical teams for efficient patient flow
- Participate in quality control initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Texas state phlebotomy license
- Experience with electronic health records
