Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments via telehealth and in-person triage
- Prioritize patient acuity using ESI and Emergency Severity Index protocols
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for seamless care transitions
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR with 100% accuracy
- Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Participate in rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in ESI/ESI-5 triage methodologies
- Exceptional critical thinking under pressure
- Advanced EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Spanish bilingual certification highly desirable
