Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections using provided equipment
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
- Operate centrifuges and automated analyzers with supplied tools
- Document patient information in electronic health records
- Train on new phlebotomy technologies as equipment is upgraded
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or NHA)
- 1+ years clinical experience with venipuncture
- Proficiency with blood collection equipment handling
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently with provided resources
- Strong attention to detail and specimen integrity
- Pass background check and drug screening
