Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection following strict protocols
- Process and label blood samples accurately using provided digital labeling systems
- Maintain sterile environments with supplied disinfection equipment
- Document patient data using our electronic health records (EHR) platform
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient flow
- Utilize provided centrifuges and analyzers for sample preparation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards with supplied security equipment
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience with venipuncture
- Valid North Carolina phlebotomy license
- Proficiency in using supplied digital lab equipment
- Exceptional interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided PPE and safety gear
- Basic computer literacy for EHR documentation
