Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections using provided advanced equipment
- Process and label specimens with precision using automated systems
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
- Provide exceptional patient care during blood draw procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Operate and sterilize provided phlebotomy instruments daily
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in venipuncture
- Proficiency with modern phlebotomy equipment (provided)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with specimen handling accuracy
- Valid Texas driver's license for mobile site rotations
