Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and care
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis following strict protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Operate and sterilize provided phlebotomy equipment safely
- Provide exceptional patient support and education during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA regulations for infection control
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Excellent venipuncture skills with ability to handle diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
