Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, and microcollection procedures using provided equipment
- Process and label specimens accurately while maintaining chain of custody documentation
- Operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with laboratory staff for specimen processing priorities
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
