Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following strict safety protocols
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing

- Provide patient education during blood collection procedures
- Verify patient identification and documentation requirements
- Operate automated laboratory equipment efficiently

Qualifications
- Current Alaska Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Proficient in specimen handling and processing protocols
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
