Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine appropriate level of care urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance over the phone and via telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex cases
- Document patient interactions and maintain electronic health records
- Coordinate patient flow and emergency department referrals
- Educate patients on symptoms and next steps
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Weekend and holiday availability required
