Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
- Verify patient identity and confirm test orders before sample collection.
- Properly label, process, and store blood samples to ensure laboratory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment.
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Handle sensitive patient information with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to enroll in and complete our paid training program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
