Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration challenges
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and strategic partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices in quantum software engineering
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards (NISQ, QEC, QAOA) and industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Certification in cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
