Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum network topologies integrating photonic interconnects and superconducting qubits
- Design cryogenic cooling systems supporting 1000+ qubit processors at 15mK temperatures
- Develop quantum-safe communication protocols resistant to decryption by classical supercomputers
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Implement quantum error correction frameworks achieving 99.999% fidelity targets
- Optimize quantum resource allocation across distributed cloud infrastructure
- Define security frameworks for quantum-protected data centers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing infrastructure or large-scale HPC architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms and mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting circuit design
- Published research in quantum networking or quantum information theory
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain
