Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Lead nursing staff during critical situations and emergency codes
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to departmental training programs
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in telemetry/ICU
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment and critical care interventions
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
